Steven J. Lawrence is an associate professor in the Department of Humanities and Social Sciences at the Benjamin Franklin Institute of Technology in Boston Massachusetts.

In addition to his work in the field of education, he also works with organizations, online discussion forums and activist communities in the development of communication norms that can best support the mission of organizations in the private, public and non-profit sectors.

In his free time, he pursues works on film and music projects and advocates for elder care.
